My husband took me on a trip to the coast this weekend for our one year anniversary. It is SO hard to come back after a small getaway. I wish we could have just one more day, but then after that, I will want even more.
We got to go to the casino (and actually won money!), go on the beach, eat at delicious local restaurants, get massages, watch football, and just lounge around doing NOTHING. We didn't touch homework, talk about his job, or do youth group stuff at all. It was amazing.
But here I am, sitting in Starbucks, bumming off their internet, waiting until my class starts tonight. My husband sits across from me working on his sermon. I have to do some research for a paper due in one week. Crazy to think we were on vacation just hours ago.
Bummer.
I'm betting you didn't just do "NOTHING!!!" ;)
